Creating RTSS WebTeam

The persons responsible towards the creation and maintenance of a website form a team. A website itself, is the product of the hardwork of dedicated team members.

www.rtss.ac.mu is a unique and special website amongst all the websites of secondary schools in Mauritius. It has been crafted with love and passion. There is the enthusiasm from the RTSS WebTeam to create a 'Virtual Shantiniketan' on the trendy web technologies available.

The setting of a web team is not difficult. However it involves a selection process, just as the Student Council consists of democratically selected students. An apperçu of the pioneer RTSS web team could be as follows:

The main tasks and responsibilities of the team would include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure that rtss.ac.mu is kept up to date with the latest valid information (web pages, blog posts) about rtss
  • creation and maintenance of students/teachers user accounts 
  • uploading of event photos/ videos/ animations/ painting
  • ensure security standards are being maintained and reinforced
  • moderate site features like forums, polls, blog comments etc.
  • to keep in contact with RTSS well-wishers who might drop some words via the contact form

Well, to sum up, the RTSS web team aims to maintain the high standard of secondary school website already set.
